Silent carbon capture, plant seagrass and combat climate change!
Mother nature is perfectly capable of capturing carbon herself. BlueCarbon stands for active carbon capture from the atmosphere by plant life in marine ecosystems. A century ago, there were still extensive fields of seagrass in the Dutch Wadden Sea, including the then Zuiderzee. In the rest of Europe, seagrass is steadily recovering, but not in the Netherlands. We want to promote and directly help seagrass restoration.
