Nog te gaan
Hoi allemaal,
Zoals sommigen van jullie weten, doe ik dit jaar mee aan de Scuba Challenge, waar ik mijn advanced duikbrevet kan halen. Als onderdeel van het programma start elke deelnemer zijn eigen crowdfundingcampagne om het behoud van de zee te ondersteunen. Voor dit project werk ik samen met medestudenten van Wageningen University, die allemaal een passie voor de blauwe wereld hebben
Voor mijn crowdfundingcampagne heb ik ervoor gekozen om de organisatie Stichting Rugvin te steunen. Zij zijn een van de weinige onderzoeksinstituten die onderzoek doen naar de bruinvis in de Noordzee. Deze organisatie draait volledig op vrijwilligers en is sterk afhankelijk van externe financiering en subsidies, waardoor onze steun cruciaal is! Ik ben sinds begin dit jaar vrijwilliger bij deze organisatie en heb de kans gehad om hen te helpen bij verschillende monitoringsmissies van bruinvissen. Hello everyone,
As some of you might know, I am currently participating in the Scuba Challenge, where I have the opportunity to further develop my scuba diving skills. As part of the program, every participant is starting their own crowdfunding campaign to support marine conservation efforts. I am teaming up with fellow students students from Wageningen University, all of whom share a deep passion for the marine environment.
For my crowdfunding campaign, I have chosen to support the organisation Stichting Rugvin. They are one of the few research institutes that are doing research on the harbour purpoise in the North Sea. This organisation is entirely run on volunteers and relies heaviliy on external funding and subsidies, making our support crucial! I have been volunteering with this organisation since the beginning of this year, and had the opportunity to help them with several monitoring expeditions of harbour purpoise.
